Dance as Language
Dance has focused, deliberately lyrical, and culturally prejudiced series of body actions that are chosen in much the same way that a person would choose series of verbal language. Integrating mind and body, dance usually enthralls both the dancer and the viewer, thus making it a prominent means of communication. Light has been shed by research, on how dance is alike in many ways to verbal language. It draws upon the same mechanisms of the brain for conceptualization, imagination, and recollection as verbal language. Both dance and verbal language have vocabulary, grammar and meaning. Countless intersections are there between dance and verbal language.
Also, literature often motivates dance. Dance has an alike affect on literature. Different dance forms are use by novelists and poets to portray characters or seasons and to light up other features of their work. Some poets even read their work with dance adjunct. This influence is showed even in our everyday language.
There are descriptions such as "words are a dance of thoughts" and "they choreographed the battle." An article had the caption "Practicing the Steps Even Before the Dance". One critic called actor Warren Beatty's flirtation with supporting a contender "his unconsummated political striptease". A writer described how tennis player Magnus Norman's "forehands ...dance delicately at his opponent's feet"

Dance as a Figurative Language
It also has figurative probable and in that sense further bear a resemblance to poetry than prose. Writer Jennifer Dunning (1998) noted that Dance, like poetry, is a skill of symbol and concept, though it beats by and cannot easily be looked back over.
